Goodwill Healthcare Services Limited (GHS CARE) is seeking multiple experienced and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our healthcare settings in Darlington and Durham on a rota and shift basis.

Pay Rate: £12.21 - £18.32 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily care needs, including physical, emotional, and spiritual support
  • Monitor and document patients' conditions and report changes
  • Assist in diagnostic tests and communicate results to healthcare providers
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Maintain professional communication with staff, external professionals, service users, and families

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in a healthcare setting preferred in UK
  • Relevant healthcare qualifications or training.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
  • Driver (preferred but not essential).
  • Active DBS

Working Conditions:

  • 12-hour shifts
  • Days/Nights/Weekends
  • Rota/Shift basis

Theory - Conflict Management, Data Security awareness, Equality and Diversity, Fire Safety, Food Hygiene, Nutrition and Hydration, Health and Safety, COSHH, Lone Working, Mental Capacity Act, Dementia, Infection Control, Radicalisation & Prevention, Safeguarding Adults and Children, Whistleblowing.

Practical - Basic life support, First Aid, Manual Handling
